These terms cover your use of takeyourmenu.com and your engagement of Take Your Menu to build and/or host a direct-order website for your restaurant. The specific scope, pricing, and ownership terms for any actual project are set out in a separate written agreement between you and Take Your Menu -- this page covers the general terms of working with us.
Once a project is built and paid for, you own the code, the data, and the domain for your restaurant's ordering site outright, under a license that lets you run, modify, and take it anywhere -- including away from us -- at any time. Full detail is in your project agreement.
Optional hosting is billed monthly, covers uptime, security, and bug fixes only, and can be cancelled by either side with notice as set out in your agreement. Cancelling hosting never affects your ownership of the code or data.
We build and host software; we don't control your restaurant's sales, review scores, or other outcomes, and make no promises about them.
To the extent permitted by law, Take Your Menu isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this site or the software we build. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it.
