Menufy's monthly prices and what they include are from its pricing page; the $1.75 fee, who pays it and the equipment deposits are from its sign-up form. Both read October 8, 2026. Take Your Menu's prices are on our home page.

Menufy's pricing page says "no per-order commissions"; the $1.75 is a flat fee on each order, listed on its sign-up form.

Where Menufy does more: there is no build fee, so it costs less to start; it runs your email and text marketing for you; and it lists your restaurant in its own directory of restaurants. If one of those matters to you, tell us when you write.

The difference in dollars

Before any per-order fee, Take Your Menu's $50 a month is $99 less than Menufy's annual plan and $129 less than its month-to-month plan. If you pay the $1.75 yourself, 300 online orders a month adds $525 a month on Menufy and nothing here. If your customers pay it, they pay that $525.

Against that stands our one-time build fee. The savings calculator puts your own order count and prices in and shows how many months it takes to earn the build fee back.

What moving takes

  1. Ask for a quote. Send us your restaurant's name and website. We reply with the build fee for your menu.
  2. We build your site and menu. By hand, from your current menu: items, sizes, options, prices and photos.
  3. You check it and sign off. Nothing goes live until you have approved the menu.
  4. Connect card payments. We guide you through linking your own Stripe or Square account.
  5. Switch on the day you choose. Your Order button and your web address point to the new site.

Questions

What does Menufy cost a restaurant?

Menufy lists $149 a month on a 12-month agreement or $179 a month with no agreement. Its sign-up form adds a $1.75 convenience fee on every order and asks who pays it: the restaurant, the customers, or the customers unless the order is above an amount you set. A tablet to receive orders takes a $149 deposit, or $248 with a receipt printer.

What does Take Your Menu cost?

A one-time build fee of $1,200 to $1,800, sized to your menu, then $50 a month or $500 a year for hosting, plus applicable tax. There is no per-order fee for you or your customers. Card payments go through your own Stripe or Square account, which charge their usual processing fee.

Which one costs less?

It depends on how long you stay. Menufy has no build fee, so it costs less at the start. Take Your Menu costs $99 to $129 less each month before any per-order fee, so the build fee is earned back over time and faster if you are the one paying the $1.75 on each order. The savings calculator works it out with your own order count.

Can I switch before my Menufy agreement ends?

On the month-to-month plan, Menufy says you can cancel anytime with no penalty. The annual plan is a 12-month agreement, so check your end date first. We can build your new site ahead of time and switch on the day it suits you.

What happens to my menu, coupons and rewards?

We rebuild your menu by hand from your current one: items, sizes, options, prices and photos, and you check and sign off on it before it goes live. Your coupons and rewards are set up to match what you offer today.

Is there a contract with Take Your Menu?

No long contract. Leaving is one button in your admin, and you leave with your menu, your order history, your customer list and your photos. The hosting price can change with 30 days' notice by email; a year paid up front keeps its price until renewal.
