When someone searches for your restaurant on Google, they see an order button and your hours. Too often the button still opens another company's page, or the hours are old. If you add Take Your Menu as a manager of your Google profile, we can fix both for you and keep them right.
You stay the owner. You can remove us at any time (the steps are at the bottom). Google does not let a manager add or remove people or delete the profile. Only you can do that.
You need to be signed in to the Google account that owns your profile.
If Google shows a different screen from the one above, send us a picture and we will walk you through it.
To be plain about it: Google lets a manager do more than this list. Google's own page says a manager can, for example, "Close a location" and "Respond to reviews". The short list above is our promise to you, not a limit set by Google. That is why you stay the owner and we are only a manager: you can look at "People and access" at any time, and you can remove us.
Once we are removed, we cannot change your profile any more. Google says what stays after a person is removed: "They can't change business info or do admin tasks, but their replies to reviews, posts, comments, and other actions stay on the Business Profile." We do not reply to reviews or post for you, so there is nothing of ours left behind. If your order button still points to your Take Your Menu page after you leave, you can change it yourself in your profile.
Google's button names and the quotes above are from Google's help page "Manage your Business Profile owners & managers". Inviting by business group ID is on Google's page "Manage agency invites": "The profile owner can invite a business group in your organization using the business group ID." Google changes its screens from time to time; if yours look different, write to [email protected]. Google is a trademark of Google LLC. Take Your Menu is not connected to Google.
