Where GloriaFood does more: its basic system costs nothing, and it has table reservations built in. We link to the booking system you already use; if you rely on GloriaFood's own reservations, you would need one. Tell us when you ask for a quote so we can give you a straight answer.

Two ways to switch

Keep your website

If you like the website you have, nothing about it changes. We build your ordering page with your menu, photos and colors, and you change the link behind your Order button. This is the smaller job and the lower price.

A full website

If your website was made with GloriaFood's website builder, it closes with GloriaFood. We build a complete website with ordering built in: home page, menu, hours, photos and a page for each popular dish.

What moving takes

  1. Ask for a quote. Send us your restaurant's name and website. We reply with the price for your restaurant.
  2. We build your menu. By hand, from your current menu: items, sizes, options, prices and photos.
  3. You check it and sign off. Nothing goes live until you have approved the menu.
  4. Connect card payments. We guide you through linking your own Stripe or Square account.
  5. Change one link. Your Order button now opens your new ordering page.

Questions

Do I have to leave GloriaFood?

Yes, by April 30, 2027. Oracle, which owns GloriaFood, says every GloriaFood product ends on that date: online ordering, the point of sale and Oracle Payment. Oracle says extensions are not possible and it offers no direct replacement.

What does it cost to switch to Take Your Menu?

Restaurants moving from GloriaFood get a reduced switch price, well below our regular build fee, until GloriaFood closes on April 30, 2027. Ask for a quote and we will send the price for your restaurant. After the switch, hosting is $50 a month or $500 a year, plus applicable tax, with no per-order fee.

Can I keep the website I already have?

Yes. If you like your website, it stays exactly as it is. We build your ordering page and you change the link behind your Order button to point to it. If your website was made with GloriaFood's own website builder, or you have none, we can build a full website instead.

What happens to my menu, customers and order history?

We rebuild your menu by hand from your current one, and you check and sign off on it before it goes live. Export your customer list and order history from GloriaFood before your service ends: Oracle says data can be retrieved for 30 days after a service expires or is cancelled.

Does Take Your Menu charge a commission or a per-order fee?

No. There is no commission and no per-order fee, for you or for your customers. Card payments go through your own Stripe or Square account, so the money goes straight to you. Stripe and Square charge their usual card processing fee.

Is there a contract?

No long contract. Leaving is one button in your admin, and you leave with your menu, your order history, your customer list and your photos. The hosting price can change with 30 days' notice by email; a year paid up front keeps its price until renewal.
